The morning sun was streaming in through a gap in the velvet curtains, a line of light illuminating the otherwise dark room. It was a sign of the new day, a promise of greater things to come, a gentle beacon beckoning to the awakening populace. Dorian hated it with a passion. He wanted to stay asleep, thank you very much, and that sword of heat falling onto his back and warming his skin to unbearable temperatures was ruining it all. He rolled over with a small groan and while it brought relief to his poor back now his chest was prickling from its new sun treatment. There was an answering groan next to him and an arm was thrown across his waist, and this time the heat was delicious and the weight comforting. “What are you doing? Go back to sleep,” Alexius’s sleepy voice mumbled at him from the tangle of sheets wrapped over his body. He turned to look at the magister, a smile on his lips as he took in the sight. He was silent for so long that Alexius opened an eye and peered at him
When Zevran reappeared in the evening after leaving Eamon’s estate hours earlier, no one was surprised to see that he had brought something with him. They had plenty of money and the others had already spent some of it in Denerim’s huge market that seemed to have just a bit of everything in it. What they did not expect, however, was the way he held the bag close to him as if to protect it. Naturally gold was the automatic assumption, then the question of just where he got such a large bag of gold, but when the elf ran off to the kitchen of all places, that was when the curiosity took full hold. He could hear their mutterings to each other as he slipped away. Really, they had been travelling with an elf for weeks and they still didn’t take into consideration that he could hear them just fine when they lowered their voices low enough for human standards. If he hadn’t been so happy then he would have been offended. His excited, noiseless steps carried him to the kitchen where they all
He moved like silk among shadows, gliding through the halls of the frozen fortress, unnoticed as a ghost. Even with the golden glow of light that surrounded his divine form, workers and soldiers and other twisted, hunched forms toiling away in the darkness barely looked up as he passed by. It was only seconds after he had vanished, long after he was still able to be seen, did the servants seem to notice a shadow of his presence pass by and gazed around them, all hopelessly as he would be long gone by that time. Right now, Mairon liked it that way.
There were times when he burned as brightly as a forge fire, his light unfurling from him like t

MK 12 (Or 1 of you like asinine naming conventions) is an alright game, its ok at best. MK 11 is very much a superior game however. Better character models, much better story, the final battle had a hell of a build up and ended epic. And hands down the MK 11 character intros/outros and 1-2-1 chats are simply better, there is no comparison. And you didn't need a connection to the MK servers to earn your cosmetics and equipment and use them offline. MK 1 Story was mediocre at best. Instead of bringing in the rest of the titans and fighting them, it's just Shang tsung survived because his ending was canon too. Not that epic a final fight, Shang and Quan chi, both time titans were just erased and done. Speaking of the mantle of keeper of time and titan was nerfed because the final fight had dozens of them. BUT the final fight was loaded with deviant art character OC's of MK characters. Like Scorpion Kung lao, Movie star Shao khan, female Johnny cage and Quan chi sub-zero (Who i call Iced

Dead Or Alive: Helena and Nico
Helena’s heart was pounding in her throat as she raced to confront Nico, her adrenaline pumping through her veins with each new step. All of this had gone on for far too long, she needed to end this, and Nico was so close, and Helena was already tensing for the inevitable fight that she could feel in her bones was close at hand. She burst through the door and the room she was looking for opened up in front of her. MIST’s secret base was enormous, and Nico was standing there as if waiting for her. There was an air of defiance in her face and her features, but she was also tensed, waiting for a fight as well, she knew. “And so the great hero has come at last!” she said, tossing her hands up in a gesture filled with sarcasm, her eyes glaring down at Helena. Of course, enemies as they were, Helena was not going to immediately leap at Nico if she wasn’t trying to attack or even be aggressive. Sarcasm was not the same as aggression, and while she was highly defensive, she made her way

Disgusting
"Prussia."
The word hung in the air for a long while before his ears plucked it down to be heard.
"Prussia. . . Prussia."
It was a. . .a name. He was certain of that much. His name? Yes, he thought so. It had a rosemary-scented familiarity to it.
"Gilbert, wake up."
He shied away from that voice, burying himself deeper into his velvet blanket of darkness. He didn't want to wake up. That sharp voice came from a harsh place that promised pain, more pain than he was already in, with a sound of silver tingles that raced along his skin like crawling ants.
"Blast it, man, wake up!"
Silver morphed into an iron-blood taste and peel
My chat (the new DA feature) is muted, I do not use it, and I do not check it very often. Please, if you want to reach me, just send a note instead, otherwise it will most likely take days and weeks for me to notice your message.
Just a little heads up and a thank you to the wonderful inte1eon who wrote so many beautiful small pieces based and inspired by the commissions I did for her! They are always a joy to see, and I really think her creativity is amazing! :)
